WOWOW开台25周年企划翻拍自人气同名美剧《铁证悬案（Cold Case）》，日本版将原先故事背景由美国费城移往日本神奈川县，讲述女警石川百合（吉田羊饰）和她的小组重新发掘，分析证据，侦破多年以前发生的种种悬而未破的罪案，将真凶绳之以法，还受害者及家属以正义的故事。。顾芸在年轻时被拐卖给老光棍林虎，林虎嗜酒成性爱女色还好赌，不仅拿着顾芸辛苦挣来的钱去赌博，还对顾芸非打即骂，顾芸忍受不了喝农药自尽，却被年幼的林茜看见，回来的林虎害怕把顾芸送去医院，自己买媳妇的事情会暴露，直接将人埋了。谁知道顾芸大难不死。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized".
