SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。夏解放捡到一个弃婴取名夏雪，含辛茹苦将她养大成人，夏雪考上了龙国最好的音乐学院，但为了给父亲治病，弃学加入马强东的经纪公司，夏雪想退出歌坛回家尽孝，但马强东以夏雪前途威胁其父，不明真相的夏雪与父亲发生了重重误会，最后夏雪发现真相与父亲团圆。。家境优越的小真在大学毕业后，正准备出国留学，却与中学同学罗杰相遇，罗杰曾经为了小真被送进劳教所，小真为此向罗杰表达了内疚之情，罗则向小真表达爱意，二人真诚地相爱了。小真的母亲却反对两人的交往，小真不顾一切要和罗杰结婚，不料罗杰在这时检查出脑癌，为了小真的幸福，他选择了离开。知道真相后，小真陪伴着罗杰走完了人生的最后一程。。
