Just when their search seems to reach a dead end, strange and disturbing...。一個清冷的早晨露宿街頭的熊青被人發現倒臥在他的大小行李廂旁已無氣息熊青的身上和行李箱裡沒有身分證只有一堆書、衣服和幾張聖誕卡聖誕卡沒有信封鄉公所處理遊民的承辦人員只好試著打卡片上署名『育承』留下的電話號碼在美國擁有妻小和安定生活的李育承接到了來自台灣的電話李育承接到熊青已經過世的消息十分錯愕李育承告訴太太熊青是他的好友他要回台灣幫忙把他的身後事處理好誰知道回到了台灣李育承卻發現沒有直系親屬的簽名是沒有辦法幫熊青處理後事的為了找到熊青的女兒李育承只能踏上這個他已經逃避了多年的旅程向過去告別。在大萧条期间，一位富有的银行家扔掉了妻子昂贵的皮大衣；它落在了速记员的头上，导致每个人都认为她是他的情妇，可以得到他的数百万美元。。
