普年（韩宁饰）的母亲长年在国外工作，母亲突如其来的逝世却掀起一波家庭风暴。为了处理母亲的后事，阿嬷强势入住普年家中，本来疏远的祖孙渐渐因相处而靠近，然而普年的泰国女友却因为普年母亲的秘密揭露，起了返家的念头，普年被迫再次面对最深的恐惧⋯⋯。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’. Everything seems perfect until the French Captain returns.。
