Subjects of Desire is a thought provoking film that examines the cultural shift in beauty standards towards embracing (or appropriating) Black aesthetics and features, deconstructing what we understand about race and the power behind beauty.。讲述三个反传统的洛杉矶女人（40多岁好朋友）不约而同跑到克里夫兰，又不约而同住进了同一间房子。当她们意识到当地人觉得她们「很有魅力」后，便决定留下来生活。Betty White扮演她们三人在克里夫兰（农场）的邻居，脾气不好，在那块土地上已经生活了50年。 ------------------------------------ 2011年6月15日下半季回归！！！！！！！！！！。
