胖哥李嘉栋（赵亮 饰）不复往日风光，买了辆二手车，专在小区门口拉私活，由于没有营运手续，人称拉“黑活儿”。干这活并不易，天天跟城管斗智斗勇，但好景不长，终于有一天被抓了现行，任胖哥怎么央求，还是把那辆二手车给没收了，并因不良记录丧失了开正规出租车的资格，这让他十分懊恼，为此媳妇（庄庆宁 饰）跟他离了婚，儿子（董博文 饰）的学习成绩也一落千丈。为了生存也为了儿子，他倾其所有买了辆新车，准备接着干，不料还是重蹈覆辙，再次翻了船。胖哥茫然了，一度萌发了犯罪的念头。就在这时，城管队员五岁儿子的童言无忌使他幡然悔悟......。U.S. version of the British show 'Love Island' where a group of singles come to stay in a villa for a few weeks and have to couple up with one another.
