讲述修筑康藏公路部队某部红旗排长李玉明，从医院回到了团部，政委和同志们都热情地欢迎他。但他却迫不及待地要求回排里去。原来红旗排正在担任几万修路大军的开路先锋，可是被一条水急、暗礁多的江水挡住了去路。他们强渡了几次，都没有成功，而且有人负伤。政委同意李玉明立即回去，并要求红旗排在“七一”以前渡过江去，寻找一条通向桥头工地——狮子山高峰的通路……。Soft boys by day, kings by night: That’s how the young Bulgarian Roma are when they come to Vienna looking for freedom and a quick buck.
