1949年9月，开国大典前夕，苏联派出了一支摄影队来到中国，帮助中国拍摄彩色纪录片。他们和中方摄影师合作，走遍大江南北，用苏联独特的电影手法再现三大战役，也记录下当时中国各地的风土人情。本片从这批彩色素材中，挑选了五座最具特色的城市，重返故地，寻访亲历者。用生动的彩色影像，温暖的故事唤起70年前的记忆，让观众感受到新中国的勃勃生机，获得感动和力量。。影片讲述了女主角罗罗在一次阴差阳错的际遇之中发现，现实生活世界好像在被某种神秘的力量控制着。在偶然遇到的少女夏天、费宁、依米的帮助下，罗罗见到了那个曾经在梦中呼唤过她的人的故事。。A soldier called Christian Lafayette, who is back in France just days after a deadly ambush in Afghanistan.
