作品的故事设定在现今的21世纪，猫神茧与普通人类柚子一起生活。柚子的父母因为意外生亡，所以柚子从小便一人继承了古董店“八百万堂”。而在这寄居的茧，虽然是负责守护被遗忘的万物和记忆的神明，但在作品中只是一个只顾吃、喝、玩及睡的猫神。在作品中，除了茧外，也将会有很多很多不同的各式神明陆续登场，热热闹闹地交织出一部轻松的喜剧。。The Moliere players are in their dressing room, getting ready to go on set. One actor mentions to another that his face reminds him of an opportunist turncoat he knew when he was in the Resistance. He then relates the adventure that he had in the Resistance, running an illegal radio station and dodging the Nazis.。
