从2011年开始，《北京喜剧幽默大赛》至今已经成功举办三届。2011年选出方清平、曹云金、潘斌龙、艾莉等年轻一代喜剧演员登上了BTV春晚。2012年选自大赛的优秀作品《五脏休假》成为BTV春晚的收视之冠，来自民间的大学生外语相声也通过这项赛事登上了BTV环球春晚的舞台。2013年选出的苗阜、王声不仅带着参赛作品《满腹经纶》登上了BTV的春晚，更是红遍大江南北并入选了央视元宵晚会的演出。另有许许多多出自大赛的优秀选手如今已被百姓熟知，成为全国各地的喜剧新势力。。think the show has potential.
