三個月前，因為車禍而失去記憶的男子阿草，某日醒來後發現，他車禍後這三個月以來，唯一認識且深愛的女友真真失蹤了… 當阿草踏上尋找女友的旅程，並與新認識的陌生朋友-記者尼克，一起展開調查真真的身世之後，阿草發現，原來他先前所認知的一切，都不是他所想像的那樣。而這都跟他之前出車禍的原因有關… 導演採用非線性敘事的手法，透過幾個不同的章節，帶著觀眾一步步拼湊出，藏在阿草影子背後的真相拼圖…。剧集以20世纪50年代的西班牙为背景，一个年轻人的父母从墨西哥把他叫回家介绍给准新娘，但当儿子和芭蕾舞演员拉扎罗一起回来时，家人被吓了一跳。他们意识到，要想先于西班牙专制政府一步，就必须有人得死。。After thirty years in the big corporation, Ugo Fantozzi retires.
