电视剧《杂技皇后夏菊花》于2007年7月开拍，同年9月初摄制完成。作为我国第一部反映杂技艺术家人生的电视剧，《杂技皇后夏菊花》从童年、青年、中年三个阶段讲述了我国著名杂技表演艺术家、中国文联副主席、中国杂协主席夏菊花极富传奇色彩的艺术人生经历。。Centers on the Kilcher family and their community outside Homer, Alaska. Led by patriarch Atz Kilcher, singer Jewel's father, the family have lived on their land for three generations. The show also focuses on the homesteaders who live by the Kilchers, including, Brother Roadkill, who eats animals lying dead on the side of the road.。
