While on command of the situation, he also devotes himself to help his failing crew and some of the boat's many passengers, some of them who are in poor health conditions.。甘元（马浚伟饰）、陆颖彤（赵学而饰）和徐耀东（林文龙饰）是青梅竹马的玩伴和好友，彼此之间感情十分深厚。中学毕业之后，对赛马充满了兴趣的甘元在机缘巧合之下成为了一名练马师，徐耀东和陆颖彤则继续深造。一场意外的发生让陆颖彤的家中突遭变故，付不起学费的陆颖彤即将失去完成学业的机会。 在这个节骨眼上，一直喜欢着陆颖彤的徐耀东挺身而出，放弃学业走上社会，帮助陆颖彤完成梦想。之后，陆颖彤来到报馆上班，却因为和上司爆发了矛盾而被调往根本无人问津的马经版。在甘元的鼓励下，陆颖彤逐渐发现了马术的博大精深并且最终凭借着自己的努力成为了一名女马评人。。
