因犯事而被判入狱之弱智成年人肥猫获保释，社会工作者玛姬奉命派往照料肥猫，玛姬接肥猫出狱，并带他去离岛拜祭父母，因交通意外二人分开，肥猫独自流浪。肥猫得一老人收留，由于其简单乐观性格，很得村人好感，更化解老人与隔壁青年之误会，三人成为好友。肥猫参加乡村表演，玛姬从电视看到，遂往乡村向老人讨回肥猫……。纪录片《穿越海上丝绸之路》依托32个人物故事的记录方式，叩问海上丝路的前世今生，以《寻路》、《家承》、《原乡》、《连枝》、《薪传》、《问道》、《脉缕》、《轮回》8个篇章，透过现实场景显影历史图像，跨时空重绘海上丝路的人文地图。。A wagon load of convicts on their way to prison is being escorted through the mountains by a cavalry troop.
