A film about existence, on the boundaries between...。年轻时的林美勤为了挽回因溺水生命垂危的儿子常帆，愿意用十年的性命换回儿子的生命。常帆长大后成为了孝子，却因为移民的问题与母亲产生了分歧。刚好离家多时的姐姐常满回到家中，常帆有意把母亲托给姐姐赡养，无奈姐姐也是一大堆孩子需要抚养。姐弟俩互相推拉，母亲盛怒之下离家出走，途中被死神追命，但她放心不下家中的儿孙……。
