St. Jude Square is a neighborhood living in fear and despair. The dueling gangs of local kingpins Dash and Antuan terrorize the streets and the citizens live without a shred of hope... until mysterious stranger Ryan Hong (Cung Le) arrives in town. He begins to play one gang against the other using his unparalleled martial arts skills, and by calling on the teachings of his brilliant mentor Tiano (Jean-Claude Van Damme) to find the strength to battle back. However, just as he begins to bring the community under control, Hong is confronted by Mr. V, the town's ruthless and corrupt police chief. At first Mr. V is impressed by Hong's skill, but soon sees Hong as a threat to his regime, and the two warriors are locked in a head-to-head battle, pitting the fear and corruption of Mr. V's regime versus the new beginning Hong represents for the people of St. Jude Square.。三百年来，一把红色小提琴在数个国家流浪，与数人的命运紧紧相牵。仿佛有某种魔咒，让人们为这把琴疯狂着迷。 小提琴的制造者，是十七世纪意大利的乐器大师（卡路•施齐Carlo Cecchi 饰 ）。妻儿死去，难抑悲伤的他，把爱人的血涂在小提琴上，从此琴就辗转流落到了奥地利。一个练琴的小男孩为了这把琴痴迷，直至倒落在舞台上。 小提琴的流浪从未间断，从盗墓者，到吉普赛人，到为之自杀的作曲家波普，再到文革期间上海的一位音乐老师。这期间，无论拥有者是否明白小提琴真正价值，都逃不出它的魔力。终于，有鉴别专家知道了小提琴的秘密——它的外壳染着三个世纪前一位大师的血和泪。。「摩梭」位于云南省丽江地区宁蒗县永宁乡，是中国唯一的母系社会，男不娶、女不嫁，人们终生与母亲同住，没有主流社会的婚姻与家庭。摩梭人重女不轻男，没有「男压迫女」或「女打压男」的问题﹔女女男男在性别与性事上轻鬆自在，人间罕见..。在如此平等、自在的文化模式裡，会刺激你反思哪些？我们又学到什麽？工作小组在没水没电的摩梭山区裡生活一年多，进行母系文化研究，收穫甚丰，且完成纪录片《三个摩梭女子的故事》。本片没有旁白，纯由摩梭人自行述说，透过老中青三代摩梭女子的生活与对话，来呈现母系摩梭文化的独特风采。 本片亦为「摩梭山区教育基金」筹款，门票收入扣除场租、全数拨归「摩梭山区教育基金」，以期山区失学儿童能重返校园。仅50元门票，已足以支付一个山区小学生的半年学费。 导演的话在没水没电的摩梭山区生活了一年多，进行母系文化研究，如鱼得水，收穫甚丰，并拍成纪录片《三...。
